You're doing your best, but pushing through isn't working.

A young woman at home, depleted

Your body won't let you rest.

You're at full capacity before the day even starts. Something small happens, and your reaction catches you off guard.

Later, lying in bed, you wonder why everything feels so much harder than it looks from the outside. The weight has become familiar. You've learned to move through your days carrying it.

But the question that keeps surfacing is one you haven't said out loud:

Why can't I just feel like myself?

Something in you knows this isn't sustainable. You want to feel present again.

An overwhelmed parent with children nearby

You're showing up. But you're running on empty.

You're still getting it done. Kids, work, obligations.

But underneath the motion, the joy isn't there the way it used to be.

You find yourself irritable over nothing.

Or flat. Sometimes you don't feel much at all.

Why do I feel so disconnected and numb?

You keep waiting for it to lift on its own. You want some relief, but you're not sure where to look for it or whether asking for help is the kind of thing you do.

A couple in bed, turned away from each other

The tension at home follows you like your shadow.

You wake up already preparing for the worst. You choose your words carefully, or you don't say anything at all, because the alternative feels like too much.

The argument. The silence. You've learned to create distance just to keep things from escalating.

You stay late. You scroll. You find reasons to be anywhere but in the middle of it.

You're tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix.

How much longer can we keep living like this?

The relationship you want is still somewhere in there. You're just not sure how to get back to it.

A woman resting alone on a set of stairs

You smiled and said, “I’m good.”

And you meant it (kind of). It was easier than the truth.

The truth is more like:

You are tired of pretending you’re someone you’re not due to family expectations.

You’re tired of trying to be the person everyone else expects you to be.

You have questions about your faith that don’t feel safe to ask out loud.

You can’t stop replaying that moment from last week when you lost it.

Am I messing up the people I love most?

You’re in between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming. You want clarity. You want your life to feel like yours again.

Part of you hasn't given up.

We've seen it in the people who find their way here.

They've been carrying something for a long time, often because they're good at it. Finally, they come in and slow down enough to ask:

Where did I learn this?

That question is usually where things start to shift. Not because the answer is simple, but because it's finally the right question.

The coping strategies that kept you functional are real. They worked.

And now they're costing you something you don't want to keep paying.

Hi, we're Summit View Counseling.

We're a small group of counselors based in Orem, Utah, and we genuinely care about the people we work with.

We know how daunting it can feel to ask for help.

We also know this: it can change. There is calmness and confidence on the other side of the work. We've walked alongside enough people to believe that.

Our team is down-to-earth. We're honest about the process, and we won't sugarcoat it.

Brody says it plainly, and so will we: the work often gets harder before it gets easier. You deserve to know what you're walking into.

We bring EMDR, IFS, Family Systems, Gottman, and somatic approaches to this work. Three of our clinicians are EMDR-certified, which is uncommon for a practice our size. We built the team this way on purpose. You should have options, and they should be excellent and effective.

We'd be honored to walk with you toward the Summit.
